Not Totally Back...

Just a little blurb here to say that I will be adding posts to my card blog... the one thing I am doing away from blogging is more card making and artwork. It has been fun!

Hope all is well with everyone! Happy Easter!

Good-bye... for a while...

I have really loved blogging.

What I have really enjoyed most is the people I have met through my blogs. What a wonderful bunch! I really cannot think of words to describe how great that has been.

And I really don't come up with the words, photo excitement, cards to share, and posts as easily as I have before... life changes and things move along. My focus is turning a couple of other places now...

Perhaps I will find a passion for all of this again... but for now: a break.

I wish you all peace and happiness... and those words are from my heart.

Hello!

I am pretty sick today (don't ask... you don't want to know)... so I am just here to quickly tell you that I will hopefully be back to posting on all my blogs again soon.

Merry Christmas! (non-fiction entry)

Matthew 2:6
"O Bethlehem of Judah, you are not just a lowly village in Judah,
for a ruler will come from you who will be the shepherd for my people Israel."

(Micah 5:2 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from old, from ancient times."

2 Samuel 5:2 In the past, while Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the Lord said to you, "You will shepherd mt people Israel, and you will become their ruler.)

Luke 3:15-16
Everyone was expecting the Messiah to come soon, and they were eager to know whether John might be the Messiah. John answered their questions by saying, "I baptize with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am - so much greater that I am not even worthy to be his slave. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.

Acts 4:11-12
For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, "The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone." There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them.

(Psalm 118:22 The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.)

Romans 15:13
So I pray that God, who gives you hope, will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in him. May you overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Day of My Birth

Thank you all for your encouraging words on getting better. My Littler, Little Man is better (he got over things pretty quickly)... but, alas, it is my birthday today and the cold has set in for a bit of a stay. Good day to just take it easy anyway, so I will. Back to posting soon!

Break Time

Well, Littler, Little Man is now sick with tummy flu... and I am not feeling all that hot either. A busy weekend approaches (hubby is already partaking in some of that action today as his dad retires today with a bit of a ceremony at work) so... I am going to lay low for a week or so to try and keep everyone healthy. You all take care! I will be back soon!

I guess today I should have said, "Arrgh! I'm a bit under the weather, me heartys!!! Sit tight while me gets my sails in order and I will be back to share a swig with you once again!"

Okay, okay... Not my best Pirate talk for "Talk Like a Pirate Day." But I tried! (You should have heard me read this aloud.... much better spoken than written!)

Thanks, Barry at Pike Speak, for the holiday reminder!
